Oswald Sawh has been a Northerner and resident of Thompson for over 31 years. Born in Guyana, South America, relocated and raised in Winnipeg at the age of 6 and moving to Thompson in 1993 shortly after graduating from the University of Manitoba, Oswald has been an active community member and volunteer in many areas including community development, animal welfare, municipal governance, addictions, intimate partner violence, homelessness, and challenges facing small business owners.
